Well, in the past few weeks I've visited more than ten blogs. They have been various blogs and were visited for various reasons, but they all communicated to me one thing: that I needed to actually maintain a blog. I think the straw that broke the camels back was Ben Witherington's blog which is quite scholarly and dismisses the notion that the only thing worth reading/writing must be in physical print. I'm sure that there are many richly informational blogs out there and that I haven't even begun to scratch the surface. This is my attempt to re-enter the blogging community...
...re-enter in the sense that I have tried to blog before and have failed. Partly because of the inherently shallow nature of blog correspondence, where quantity can triumph over quality, and also because I find it hard to stop my day to keep up an interesting blog. Add to this the fact that most blog templates/providers are frustrating to use and that i'm getting too old for facebook and whatever AOL puts out these days and here we are, at almost 5am on a sunday. Couldn't sleep, but it appears that I can blog. If you're a friend, classmate, relative, or stranger, welcome. I'll try to keep it interesting.
